Magma PETG Filament

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified), also known as Copolyester, is a type of green material which is able to be recycled for second use. The new material PETG has the benefits of both ABS and PLA where it is more durable, able to withstand high temperature, impact- resistant and it is easy to print.  

PETG is popular for its remarkably high strength to achieve strong prints, very low shrink rate and thus, making it perfect for printing larger flat surfaces with a smoother finish. Heated bed is required for PETG.

We recommend to set lower printing speed to achieve better prints and always use a fan with PETG as this material tends to cool down slower.

All Magma Filament rolls are vacuum- packed with silica gel desiccant.

Storage

Store filaments in an airtight storage container or airtight zip lock bag. It is also encouraged to use desiccant to keep the material free from humidity.
